Established in 2012, Western States Fire Equipment (now Velocity Truck Centers) is dedicated to servicing the communities in Southern California, Nevada and Arizona. Below is our core group of Fire Professionals who have dedicated the careers to providing the best equipment and apparatus to our customers.

Velocity Truck Centers is part of the Velocity Vehicle Group, the premier commercial truck provider in the country. This provides unprecedented resources that are leveraged to best support you, our customer. This unique partnership allows us to work on both the Fire Truck itself, and also the Engine, Transmission, Axles and Chassis Equipment. This means that you can bring your apparatus to one place to be diagnosed and repaired, no matter what it may need. And in addition to that, we have the largest stock of repair and replacement parts in the region on our shelves ready to go.


Velocity Fire Equipment Sales

Since 1998 the Velocity Truck Centers have been servicing communities in Southern California, Nevada and Arizona in the Fire Service. We have had a dedicated group of Fire Apparatus and PPE Professionals dedicated to supporting your communities Fire Departments throughout our regional dealer network.

In 2007, we decided to add PPE and loose gear to our Apparatus line up since many customers were asking for help sourcing equipment from a reliable supplier. We worked with many reputable companies establishing distribution agreements so we could provide a full range of products to our customers. Our goal is to be your one stop source, providing you high quality products with quick delivery and great prices. We use our considerable buying power, supply analytics, warehousing capacity, and our professional staff to make it all happen.

Over the past two decades, our staff has worked diligently to deliver and supported hundreds of Apparatus and outfitted numerous Departments with gear and equipment. You can rely on us to do the same for you.

With Full Service Commercial Truck Dealerships located throughout the Southwest that have millions invested in Service Capacity and Parts Inventories, Velocity Truck Centers provides broadest coverage to our markets. As customer concentrations have grown in smaller geographic areas, we have added trained ASA and EVT Technicians to support those local communities within our existing dealer locations. We have also added mobile service and mobile pump testing so we can reach our customers with the fastest most convenient services they require. In Phoenix and Los Angeles Fire Division, we also maintain Fire Specific Shops and Parts Supply Resources with Fire Specialist that know the business inside and out.


Our staff is our biggest asset and add the highest value to our organization. Accordingly, we maintain full time trainers in both California and Arizona providing in house training to our service technicians. The continuing education process with all of the new technologies and designs requires a progressive and significant investment in our people. This keeps us prepared to provide the state of the art diagnostic and repair services required on the new vehicles. We have EVT and technicians in training that focus their collective efforts to supporting the Fire Apparatus Services Division. They attend week long factory training provided by Rosenbauer for their Certifications, in addition to participating in the regional EVT Training curriculums. We also offer factory training and warranty certification to your mechanics so they can work on your apparatus in house.

Fleet Support

We provide Fleet Support Personnel that monitor, assist, and support our customers Apparatus in the field. This is very unique, as Fleet Support reports directly to you, so when you identify a need or want assistance with any issues affecting your fleet, they jump right in and work with our vendor partners and engineering resources to make things happen to solve any problem. This field support drives better communication and can put issues into focus so they are quickly managed and resolved.
